  1. Romeo & Juliet (1996) – Quindon Tarver – Everybody’s Free (by TheLadybumbum)

    #throwbackthursday

GAH, my favorite song in the film. Can’t wait to see Gatsby.

  2. ENDER’S GAME — Trailer (by SummitScreeningRoom)

Asa Butterfield, is that really you?

  3. Trailer for Kristen Wiig’s upcoming film, “Girl Most Likely” (formerly known as “Imogene”).

  4. “This leaves men confused and unable to pigeon-hole you. This will force them to instead, take you seriously.”

    From Syrup

  5. Violet & Daisy TRAILER 1 (2013) - Saoirse Ronan, Alexis Bledel Movie HD (by MovieclipsCOMINGSOON)

  7. Scatter My Ashes At Bergdorf’s

Really looking forward to seeing this (the again, most fashion documentaries are fantastic)! Bergdorf Goodman has a special place in my heart: I still remember the first time my mom took me to Bergdorfs to go shopping and have tea… and the time I bought my first pair of Jimmy Choos.

So yeah, being buried under a pile of couture and New York City history wouldn’t be a terribly horrible way to go.

  8. Prince Avalanche Trailer

Starring Paul Rudd and Emile Hirsch. Directed by David Gordon Green.

  9. The Way, Way Back - Official Trailer (HD) Steve Carell (by joblomovienetwork)

  10. "Do not simplify. Do not worry about failure. Failure is a badge of honour. It means you risked failure."

     - Charlie Kaufman, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (via benedictsmith)
  11. On Time Travel and Depression

Michel Gondry talks to Esquire about his latest movie, The We and the I, and why he doesn’t think time travel is all it’s cracked out to be.

ESQUIRE: In your real life. If you, Michel Gondry, found a time machine and could go anywhere, to any period in history, where would you take it?

MICHEL GONDRY: I would travel back a few years ago and fix some screw-up I did.

ES: A personal or professional screw-up?

    MG: In my personal life.

ES: Can you be more specific?

MG: I would come back and say yes to a girl. That’s all. Actually, I find the whole idea of traveling back in time to be profoundly depressing.

    ES: Really? Why so?

MG: Because I know the future. Living in the past, it would feel weird to know what’s going to happen next. You couldn’t escape it. That future’s already in your head. You know it doesn’t get better.

ES: You’d rather not know about the future?

MG: The future is about hope. If you travel from the present to the past, you don’t have that hope anymore. You know how everything turns out.

    ES: There are no surprises.

MG: No surprises, exactly! To me, that just sounds so… depressing.

  12. RENOIR Movie Trailer (2013) (by FilmsActuTrailers)

Oh my god this looks so beautiful.

  13. The Great Gatsby Trailer w/ New Music by Beyoncé x André 3000, Lana Del Rey, Florence + The Machine (by WarnerBrosPictures)

I cannot tell you how excited I am for this movie, especially the soundtrack. The track listing looks INSANE.

  14. "Never marry someone who doesn’t love the movies you love. Sooner or later, that person will not love you."

     - Roger Ebert (via girlsack)

    RIP Roger Ebert.

Last Thursday, I started a movie marathon—old movies that I missed. I am planning to watch a movie each night, just until the end of the holidays.
The marathon kicked off with Dead Poets Society. I loved a lot of lines from that movie, this is one of them.
“No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world.”
