    I didn’t know you have a cat!!!

I do! Her name is Mimi. She enjoys sleeping on my belly, on my Macbook and on all my clothes.

What kind of an Asian are you, Grace? You can’t wear shoes inside!

HAHAHA! Oh Jenna, you always make me laugh. I’m the wrong kind of Asian, I suppose.

    is that liquor?

    Hahaha, no, it’s water!

  4. craftyhippo replied to your photo: Got the case of the mean reds today. But feeling…

    is mean reds your period???

No, the mean reds are from Breakfast at Tiffany’s:

Holly Golightly: You know those days when you get the mean reds?

Paul Varjak: The mean reds, you mean like the blues?

Holly Golightly: No. The blues are because you’re getting fat and maybe it’s been raining too long, you’re just sad that’s all. The mean reds are horrible. Suddenly you’re afraid and you don’t know what you’re afraid of. Do you ever get that feeling?

    Paul Varjak: Sure.

Holly Golightly: Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany’s. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that’d make me feel like Tiffany’s, then - then I’d buy some furniture and give the cat a name!

    are you in china?

Nope, still in Atlanta. These students are attending school here and they just came over from China.

omg you know who else I loved? Hugh Grant and his secretary! And Emma Thompson and Snape. Oh God, I ripped this movie on my external and I think I’ll listen to it as I fall asleep.

a woman after my own heart.

Have you seen some of the crap he’s made lately? There’s this one where he’s like a mortician with Christina Ricci which was terrible and the A Team? Oh goodness, he could do so much better!

AHAHA, my god, I really forgot about those! Yeah, you’re right. Those are pretty crap. I just kept thinking about how pleasantly surprised I was about Taken and then realized that movie came out over a year ago. No matter, I’ll relish in his older, better films. But yeah, hopefully he’ll work on some better films.

aw I loved Colin Firth in this! And Liam Neeson! Do you think Liam Neeson is like his character since Natasha died? But then he’s making really bad movies these days so he’s probably gone off the deep end.

I agree, it was such a heartwarming movie with a brilliant cast! It really is unsettling how much life imitated art, but I still can’t see Liam Neeson doing wrong in my eyes. Must admit, I was reminded of this song after watching an old episode of How I Met Your Mother on TV and they played a little of this during a scene. Ah, romcoms. Hope you are well!

i wonder if they have access to mypage lol!!

Haha, probably not! I wish the blogger took closeups of the products. I wonder if they’re knockoffs or not.

oh is Cheerwine some southern thing? I don’t know, I haven’t drank soda in 2 years on the account that I’ve had 5 root canals between 2009-2010.

I think it is. It’s produced in North Carolina and I can sometimes find it when I travel around the south or at certain restaurants in Atlanta.

And good for you on not drinking soda for so long! My sweet tooth can be so overbearing and I’ve just got to give in from time to time. I try to drink mostly water and treat sugary drinks as a treat.

And like all treats, I occasionally binge. Which is what I did today.

I thought Dr. Pepper was already cherry coke. Is there such a thing as Cherry Dr. Pepper?

Yup! I think Cherry Dr. Pepper has a much smoother taste, like Cheerwine. I actually prefer Cheerwine, but I can’t always count on the grocer for stocking them.

is it from Starbucks? It took some willpower to decline to the nice lady who offered me a free red velvet whoopie last week.

Noo, those are babies compared to the one I stuffed my piehole with! There’s a bakery near my school and I go there between classes for a cafe au lait and a black and white cookie, but I just had to try their whoopie pie. I did try the one from Starbucks and it was nice, albeit overpriced for its size, in my opinion.

I still bought a black and white cookie because, somehow, I reasoned that I still needed a back-up to the whoopie pie. I am an utter glutton.
